The 2024 World Athletics Indoor Tour will feature the first Gold-level meeting in Asia that takes place in Astana.
The series will feature seven Gold level meetings, starting on 27 January in Astana, Kazakhstan and ending in Madrid on 23 February.
The scoring disciplines on the World Athletics Indoor Tour change every year. For 2024 the Gold level scoring disciplines will be:
Women: 400m, mile, 60m hurdles, high jump, long jump
Men: 60m, 800m, 3000m/5000m, pole vault, triple jump, shot put
In Astana you will see the following events:
Women: 400m, 1500m, 60m hurdles, high jump, long jump
Men: 60m, 800m, 3000m, pole vault, shot put
The the winner of the Tour will be awarded a USD$10,000 bonus and offered a wild card entry for the World Athletics Indoor Championships Glasgow 24.
