Association member federation’s delegates will gather on 20th April 2019 prior to the start of the 23rd Asian Athletics Championship to choose Asian Athletics Council and committee members.
Congress is convened biannually and this year it will be held at Doha (Qatar).
Congress shall also appoint members on various committees such as:
- Technical Committee
- Women’s Committee
- Medical Committee
- Coaching Committee
- Cross Country & Road Running Committee
- Race Walking Committee.
The Secretary General of the Federation Askhat Seisembekov will run for the IAAF Council (the program is attached to the article), and Alexander Kruglikov, Director of the Scientific and Technical Center of the Federation, will be elected to the Technical Council.
