RESULTS OF KAZAKHSTAN ATHLETES AT THE WORLD CROSS CHAMPIONSHIP

Today, March 30, the World Cross Country Championships took place in the Danish city of Arhus.

We remind you that in this country the tournament was held for the first time in history. Adult athletes and juniors (U20) had the opportunity to participate in the competition.

Athletes ran along a two-kilometer highway on the territory of the Moesgor Museum of Archeology and Ethnography. On each lap, athletes climbed the sloping roof of the main building of the museum.

National teams from more than 60 countries of the world took part in the Championship. Kazakhstan was represented by three athletes: Said Sulaimanov, Madina Kerimova, Ilham Yerkabayev.

1. In the 10 km race, Said Sulaimanov became the 129th in the standings. The athlete showed the result of 38:58.

2. The distance of 8 km Ilham Yerkabayev ran for 29:12. Junior ranked 90th.

3. Young athlete, Madina Kerimova finished 95th. 6 km she ran for 26:11.
