Canadian sprinter Andre de Grasse will perform at the Astana Indoor Meet for Amin Tuyakov Prizes in Astana, January 27, 2024.
Andre de Grasse is the Tokyo 2020 Olympic champion, two-time silver Olympic medalist and three-time Olympic bronze medalist, World Champion. On September 17, 2023, Andre de Grasse won the Diamond League final in the 200m discipline. In Astana the athlete will run 60-meter race.
Astana Indoor Meet for Amin Tuyakov Prizes will be the first ever World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold series event in Asia. Previously, the participation of world record holder Armand Duplantis, performing in the pole vault, and Gudaf Tsegay in the 1-mile race, had already been confirmed.
