Soon, from April 21 to April 24, Doha (Qatar) will host the best athletes of the Asian continent at the XXIII Asian Athletics Championships. Competitions will be held at Khalifa International Stadium, which successfully uses innovative and environmentally friendly cooling technology, providing optimal conditions for athletes and fans.
About 700 Asian athletes from 44 countries will compete for 186 medals in 21 male and 21 female types, as well as in a mixed relay, which will debut in Asian athletics.
These competitions will be some kind of preparation for the IAAF World Cup, which will be held for the first time in the Middle East, in Doha, from September 28 to October 6.
