Altay Athletics athletes will participate in the Diamond League 2019.
Norah Jeruto and Daisy Jepkemey will be performing in the discipline "3000 meter steeplechase".
Caroline Kipkirui will compete at 3000 meters.

This year's annual series of elite athletics competitions in the Diamond League will be held in 14 stages: 12 of them qualifying and two final.
The first stage will take place on May 3 in Doha (Qatar).

On the "Diamond League" will be played trophies in 32 disciplines - 16 for men and women. The total prize fund of the competition will be $ 8 million. The winners in the final stages will be awarded a diamond trophy and $ 50 thousand, and the best in the overall standings - $ 100 thousand.

In March 2019, IAAF President Sebastian Coe announced changes in the format of the Diamond League for the next 2020. It will be held in the summer one meeting per week for 13 weeks. Some events are planned outside the stadiums. Also, the number of events will be reduced from 32 to 24.
