Norah Jeruto and Daisy Jepkemey will be performing in the discipline "3000 meter steeplechase".

Caroline Kipkirui will compete at 3000 meters.

This year's annual series of elite athletics competitions in the Diamond League will be held in 14 stages: 12 of them qualifying and two final.

The first stage will take place on May 3 in Doha (Qatar).

In March 2019, IAAF President Sebastian Coe announced changes in the format of the Diamond League for the next 2020. It will be held in the summer one meeting per week for 13 weeks. Some events are planned outside the stadiums. Also, the number of events will be reduced from 32 to 24.
